You do not necessarily need another job.

You may need something you can build.

Start with where you are

This may be worth exploring if…

You are not searching for a magic button. You are looking for a realistic path you can evaluate on your own terms.

You want something flexible

You are not looking to walk away from your current responsibilities. You want something you can begin learning and building around real life.

You know you need a Plan B

You want to create another option before a layoff, an unexpected expense, or a life change forces you to make one under pressure.

You are open to learning

You do not need travel-industry experience. You do need a willingness to learn, serve people, market yourself, and consistently take action.

Clarity before commitment

Let’s be honest about what this is—and what it isn’t.

A good opportunity for the wrong person is still the wrong opportunity. You deserve enough information to make a clear decision.

What it is

  • A flexible independent business model
  • A chance to build travel knowledge and sales skills
  • Training, tools, community, and mentorship
  • A path you can begin alongside other responsibilities

What it is not

  • A salaried or hourly remote job
  • Guaranteed income or instant success
  • A free-vacation program
  • A business that grows without marketing and follow-up

Benefits you can qualify for

Travel-industry access can be part of the journey.

These are earned advisor benefits with specific training, credential, and eligibility requirements—not automatic sign-up bonuses.

After required vendor training

Complimentary cruise for two

Complete the appropriate cruise-vendor training to qualify for the cruise benefit.

Training + industry credential

Complimentary theme-park tickets

Complete the required vendor training and hold an active CLIA or IATAN card to qualify.

Training + industry credential

Marriott Fam-Tastic rates

Complete the required Marriott training and hold an active CLIA or IATAN card to access eligible rates.

How the industry credentials work

Archer makes a personal IATAN card available after an advisor reaches $5,000 in paid commissions. Advisors may also purchase an annual CLIA Individual Agent Membership and receive the CLIA/EMBARC credential. Jennifer paid $89 for her 2026 membership, which is valid through December 31, 2026.

Benefit availability, eligibility, redemption rules, and supplier terms can change. Complete all required training and verify current requirements before making travel plans.

Your next three steps

Explore first. Decide second.

No awkward pitch. No pressure to say yes. Start by finding out whether the model makes sense for you.

01

Take the fit assessment

Answer a few honest questions about your goals, time, expectations, and willingness to build.

02

Learn how it works

If there may be a fit, get the facts about the business model, support, responsibilities, and costs.

03

Choose your next step

Attend an information call, watch the presentation, ask questions—or decide it is not for you right now.

A roadmap—not a pile of links

You won’t be handed a login and left to figure it out.

Agents who join my team receive access to a private, step-by-step worksite designed to guide them through what to do next.

From certification and supplier registration to qualifying clients, creating quotes, making bookings, tracking commissions, launching your business, and continuing your training—the resources are organized around the journey.

Guided onboarding in the correct order Booking tools, forms, checklists, and templates Business-launch and marketing training Specialty resources and ongoing mentorship

You will still need to learn, take action, and ask questions—but you won’t have to piece the entire process together by yourself.

Compare the whole model

A higher split is only one part of the decision.

Host agencies structure their fees, travel commissions, technology, training, support, and credential access differently. Some business models also include a separate way to earn through referrals or team building. Compare each income path and its responsibilities—not just one headline number.

Important distinction: A host agency’s IATAN or CLIA number lets affiliated advisors book under the agency. A personal IATA/IATAN or CLIA/EMBARC card is issued by the credentialing organization and is not automatically included just because someone enrolls. Eligibility, applications, host approval, and annual fees may apply.

InteleTravel provides booking tools, a personalized website, marketing resources, training, and live events.InteleTravel and PlanNet are separate businesses. A person may choose either one or both, and both fees apply when choosing both.

The honest bottom line

If your only priorities are the lowest monthly fee and highest travel split, another host may fit you better. If you want both travel sales and an optional referral/team-building path—with a guided worksite, structured business-building training, and ongoing mentorship—compare the complete model. Referral and team income require separate marketing, leadership, and support work.

Take the Fit Assessment

Information reviewed August 31, 2026. Evolution/Archer pricing and credential details reflect current information supplied by Jennifer, including her $89 CLIA purchase for 2026; other figures reflect publicly available company information. “No separate plan publicly advertised” does not mean a company never offers a limited referral reward, agency-owner arrangement, or private promotion. Personal credential access is not automatic and remains subject to the host agency’s rules and the issuing organization’s requirements. Prices, compensation, thresholds, and features can change. This representative comparison is educational, not exhaustive, and is not an endorsement or criticism of another company. Verify current terms, credential eligibility, and compensation disclosures directly before enrolling.

Real training. Real momentum.

What this looks like in real life

I led two six-week Recruiting Reset Bootcamps in 2026, meeting twice a week to help agents clarify their audience, strengthen their message, and show up consistently.

400+engaged TikTok followers gained by one agent during the program

The group wanted continued support, so we now meet weekly to keep building momentum.

Individual results vary. Follower growth does not guarantee business or income results.

A guide who has lived the pivot

Hi, I’m Jennifer.

I spent years working in corporate accounting while raising my son as a single mom. I understood what it meant to carry the financial responsibility for my family—and why having another option mattered. I started my travel business in 2021, and when I was laid off from corporate America later that year, the Plan B I had already begun building became my path forward.

Today, I help people plan meaningful travel and mentor new travel advisors as they learn how to build businesses of their own. I will encourage you, teach you, and tell you the truth about the work involved.

Straight answers

Questions you should ask before starting.

Is this a remote job?+

No. This is not salaried or hourly employment—it is an independent business you can operate remotely. With a phone or computer and reliable internet access, you can work from home, while traveling, or from many places that fit your life. You decide when and where you work while remaining responsible for serving your clients and building your business.

How do I become a travel agent from home?+

Many people begin by affiliating with a host agency, completing the required training, registering with approved travel suppliers, learning how to qualify and serve clients, and consistently marketing their services. Legal and registration requirements can vary by location. Advisors who join Jennifer’s team receive guided onboarding, practical booking resources, business-launch training, and ongoing mentorship.

Do I need travel-agent experience?+

No previous travel-industry experience is required. Training and mentorship are available, but you are responsible for learning and applying what is taught.

What does it cost to start?+

The current options are $69.99 per month or $89.99 per month. There are no contracts or sales quotas. The differences between the options and other details are covered during the how-it-works step after your assessment.

Do I need to quit my current job?+

No. Many people begin by exploring the business alongside a job, family, or other commitments. Your available time and expectations matter, which is why the fit assessment comes first.

Will I get paid to travel?+

You are not paid simply for taking a trip. However, when you book your own eligible travel through a supplier that pays commission, you may earn commission on that booking after the travel is completed and the supplier pays it. Commission eligibility, amounts, timing, and requirements vary by supplier and booking.

Is income guaranteed?+

No. Results vary, and income is never guaranteed. Earnings depend on individual effort, sales, business activity, completed travel, supplier rules, expenses, and other factors.

Build before you need it

Your Plan B does not have to begin with a leap.

It can begin with better information and one honest next step.
